A small importer in Zurich.

Way HWa is a single-product matcha label, run from a small atelier in Zurich. We import in small batches from one farm in Japan.
The matcha you buy was first flush, hand-picked, briefly steamed, and stone-milled at about thirty grams an hour. Sealed within days of milling, opened in the kitchen of the person who will drink it.
We make two sizes. Thirty grams for those starting, or for the occasional cup. Eighty grams for the daily. There is no third size, no flavoured blend, no subscription.
The peony on the tin is our mark — chosen because matcha is for daily living, not performance.

Grade
Ceremonial. First flush, hand-picked, stone-milled.
